Terms and Conditions for the Supply of - Doors, Pre Assembled / Self Assembly Furniture, Accessories, Panels, Handles and Hinges.


1.  The "Customer"
     For the purpose of this contract the "customer" shall be defined as the person mentioned in relation to the Biling Address.  

2.  Delivery
a)  
Whilst Homestyle will make every reasonable effort to deliver on the date requested by, or agreed with, the customer this is not always possible.
     Therefore for the purpose of this contract time of delivery shall not be of the essence and any delivery date given is an estimate only.

b)  It may be possible that goods are offered for delivery earlier than indicated.  At peak times Homestyle may only be able to offer customers a choice of
     just one delivery date.  

c)  If a delivery date is rejected Homestyle cannot always guarantee an alternative delivery date without delay.  

d)  Any changes to the delivery address must be communicated to Homestyle at least 5 days prior to the estimated delivery date.  Homestyle will not take
     any responsibility for delays caused by changes to the delivery addresses if these are not communicated accurately and promptly.  

e)  To enable the courier to deliver the products ordered, customers names and addresses will be passed to them and they may contact you directly to
     arrange delivery.  The courier is under a strict contractual obligation to keep all customers personal information stricly private.  

f)  We allow for one delivery attempt in line with our couriers terms and conditions.  Should the goods not successfully reach you in this time due to you not being present after we have supplied the delivery date then the goods may be returned to us.  Due to the goods being returned to us we reserve the right to charge you for the cost of the return and the redelivery of the goods purchased, plus reasonable administration costs.

g)  The customer or a responsible representative on the customers behalf must be present at the delivery address to sign for the goods.  Should you wish
     the goods to be left, without a signature, the customer must arrange this with the courier using the contact details provided by a Homestyle
     employee/representative along with the relevant tracking/consignment number.  We cannot guarantee that this is possible for all deliveries.  

h)  It is the customers responsibility to check the goods when received.  Please check all packaging for damage and if necessary open the goods with the
     courier present to ensure that the goods are in an acceptable condition.  If in doubt mark the delivery note as 'damaged' or 'packaging damaged'.  If the
     items received are not marked as damaged we cannot guarantee our ability to make an insurance claim from the courier and therefore we would be
     unable to offer free of charge replacements to the customer.  

i)  Refusal of delivery by the customer will incur an administration fee to cover the return of the goods to Homestyle plus the cost of redelivery of the goods
     to the customer.  

j)  Homestyle shall not be liable to the customer for any loss or damage whether arising directly or indirectly from the late delivery or short delivery of the
     goods.  If a short delivery does take place the customer should not reject the goods but accept the goods delivered as part performance of the contract.
     In this circumstance the customer should contact Homestyle to be sure we are aware of the short delivery and dealing with the delivery of the remaining
     goods.  

k)  If the goods are supplied with packaging materials or crates these are non-returnable and are the customers responsibility for disposal as appropriate.

3.  Cancellation and/or Variation
     Once payment for an order has been received by Homestyle the order will be processed immediately into our production system.  Due to the products
     being made to measure/made to order we cannot allow any cancellations after an order is processed into the production system.  
     If any errors are noticed after placing an order the customer must immediately ring Homestyle.  We cannot guarantee that changes can be made but if
     possible we will stop the production of any incorrect items.  
     All doors, drawer fronts and matching accessoires are made to order and produced precisely to your requirements, therefore no refunds or exchanges can
     be made.

4.  Tolerance, Shading and Colour Variations
     Due to limitations of the vinyl wrapping proccess, slight colour variations may occur between batches of vinyl.  In all circumstances Homestyle will make
     every reasonable endeavour to minimise the effect of variations.  
     Homestyle also reserve the right to alter the design of doors, accessories and all other products without warning and will not be held accountable for
     variation from any product shown.  Any product variation would always be replaced with a product of equal or better quality.  
     Homestyle have a hinge hole drilling tolerance of 2.5mm in either direction as most hinges carry a built in adjustment of 5mm on the back plate.  

5.  Limitation of Liability
     Homestyle shall not be liable for any indirect or consequential loss even if the cause is due to any act, omission or default of Homestyle, its employees,
     servants or agents.  

6.  Force Majeure 
     Homestyle shall not be liable for any default in its obligations hereunder as a result of any act of God, war, strike, lockout, industrial action, fire, flood,
     storage of materials or any other event beyond its reasonable control.  

7.  General
     Homestyle reserves the right to make the decision on any event occuring above and beyond normal practice and conditions.  
     Unless undertaking the fitting, Homestyle accepts no responsibility for delivery shortages resulting in additional fitting charges.  
     The customer assumes responsibility for the goods being suitable for the purpose which they are intended.
